Rubery Juniors FC History

Established with just one team in 1986 as Cock Juniors by co-founders John Bousfield and Kevin Blaber, we adopted the name of the area we lived in 1987 with the birth of what we now know as Rubery Juniors Football Club. The club rose to the status of FA Charter Standard in 2004 and now possesses no less than 27 Football Association Qualified Coaches, 27 Qualified First Aid personnel, alongside 28 Fully Qualified Child Protection Officers. We now seek to achieve the highest achievable status as we apply for FA Charter Community Club during 2006/2007 season with no less than 17 teams wearing the colours with pride.

We are a non-profit making Community football club based in the West Midlands, giving local families and children the opportunity to take part in organised sport, and also play a part in the development of their own personal values, beliefs and responsibilities to the people in the area in which they live.
